At SportsGear24x7.com, we are committed to providing high-quality cricket bats and ensuring customer satisfaction. Our bat warranty policy is designed to address any manufacturing defects while acknowledging the natural wear and tear associated with cricket bats.

Warranty Coverage:

• Manufacturing Defects: Our warranty covers issues arising from manufacturing defects or faults.

Important Considerations:

• Natural Wear and Tear: Cricket bats are crafted from natural willow and are subjected to repeated impacts with cricket balls. Over time, cracks and signs of wear are normal and do not necessarily indicate a defect.

• Knocking-In Process: Proper preparation, including knocking-in, is crucial. Cracks may appear during this process and are not always indicative of a fault.

• Maintenance: The lifespan of a bat depends on usage and care. We recommend using protective measures such as anti-scuff sheets and toe guards to enhance durability.

Exclusions from Warranty:

• Toe Damage from Yorkers: Damage to the toe caused by yorker deliveries.

• Improper Preparation or Maintenance: Damage resulting from inadequate knocking-in, lack of maintenance, or improper use.

• Environmental Damage: Damage due to moisture, extreme temperatures, or exposure to elements.

• Non-Leather Balls: Damage from using non-leather or composite balls, including bowling machine balls.

• Misuse: Damage from hitting non-cricket objects or improper use.

• Performance Variations: Each bat is handcrafted, and performance may vary; this is not covered under warranty.

• Non-Transferable Warranty: Warranty claims can only be made by the original purchaser with proof of purchase.

Warranty Process:

• Duration: Our English Willow cricket bats come with a 12-month warranty against manufacturing defects.

• Assessment: If you believe your bat has a manufacturing defect, please contact us with proof of purchase and details of the issue. We will assess the claim in conjunction with the manufacturer.

• Resolution: Approved warranty claims may result in repair or replacement, at the manufacturer's discretion. Repairs may take approximately 10-15 working days.

Terms of Repair/Replacement:

• Moisture Damage: Damage caused by dampness or moisture is not considered a manufacturing defect and is not covered.

• Edge or Toe Cracks: Minor cracks are normal due to the natural materials and are not covered unless deemed severe by the manufacturer.
